Oxford court case for trio after alleged Bicester stabbing

Tao Mitchell, Giuseppe Spinelli and Kabir Rao appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, May 8.

The men have been charged in connection with a stabbing in Bicester on April 7 this year.

Mitchell, 23, of Blackburn Close, Headington; Spinelli, 40, of Field Street, Bicester; and Rao, 23, of no fixed abode, all pleaded not guilty to section 18 wounding with intent and the less serious charge of section 20 unlawful wounding.

Mitchell and Spinelli pleaded not guilty to having a knife.

Mitchell pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to supply a class A drug, namely cocaine.

Spinelli pleaded guilty to having an offensive weapon, namely an autolock baton, being in possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis, being in possession of criminal property, namely £10,000 cash, and possession with intent to supply a class A drug, namely cocaine.

A trial for all three men, with a time estimate of five days, was set for October 5.

All three were remanded in custody.
