Oxford City sign winger Ellis Brown from Bedford Town

The 23-year-old joins from Bedford Town and becomes the club’s latest addition ahead of the 2026/27 National League North season.

Ross Jenkins, first team manager, said: “Ellis is a player who will add excitement and speed to our wide areas.

“He has the ability to run fullbacks and run behind back lines which will add another dimension to our play.

“Adding his hunger and athleticism to our squad is exactly what we want from our new players and I’m sure he will settle into our dressing room with ease.”

Brown made 31 appearances for Bedford Town last season and previously played alongside Oxford City striker Tyrone Marsh.

He played his latter years of junior football at Boreham Wood before a spell with Hamilton Academical in Scotland.

He later returned to England with AFC Telford United, where he established himself as a regular starter and helped the club reach the play-offs and earn promotion to the National League North.

Speaking about his move, Brown said: “I’m feeling good, I’m excited and I can’t wait to start.

“I just want to see how much I can learn and see how high this club can go and I’m super excited about it.”
