The new Pulhams X52 service between Oxford, Witney, Burford, Andoversford and Cheltenham will operate from March 29.

It will replace the Stagecoach service S2 which currently runs a similar route, but offer ‘faster journey times and excellent connections’ across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.

The buses will run up to every two hours from Monday to Saturday during the day, and two return journeys will operate on Sundays until May when a two-hourly Sunday service will also be introduced.

Journey times will be faster due to limited stops between Witney and Oxford, calling at only nine stops in either direction, and are included in the £3 single fare cap.

A spokesperson for Oxford Bus Company said: “The X52 is a brilliant way to get around and explore this stunning part of the Cotswolds, or to head straight into Oxford or Cheltenham for shopping, sightseeing or events.”
