Murder investigation after child dies in Thames Valley
The child, whose gender or age has not been disclosed, was seriously inured before they were sent to hospital and later died.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder and grievous bodily harm on Thursday, March 26, including a man aged 27 and a woman aged 28 from Slough.
They have since been released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries, police said.

The incident happened in Slough, Berkshire, over the Oxfordshire border.
Detective inspector Nick Hind, of the major crime unit at Thames Valley Police, said: “This is an exceptionally tragic incident, in which a child has sustained serious injuries and, very sadly, has subsequently tragically passed away in hospital.
“Our enquiries are still at an early stage. Two individuals have been arrested in relation to this incident and have been released on conditional police bail while our investigation continues and further lines of enquiry are explored.
“I appreciate that an incident of this nature will cause significant concern within the community.
“However, based on the information we have at this time, we do not believe there is any broader threat to the public.”
