Much-loved Oxfordshire sweet shop to host birthday party

The Shake & Sweet Shop in Witney has a 4.8-star rating on Google Reviews and will soon celebrate its 15th birthday.

To be held on Monday, April 6 at its premises on 12 Market Square, the independent family business’ party will include music, face painting, games and giveaways.

In addition there will be a Happy Hour where the first 30 shakes ordered will be given away for free.

A spokesperson for the shop said: “We think surviving 15 years as a small independent is quite an achievement, so we intend to celebrate and invite you all along.

“As a thank you, we present our Happy Hour, 11am – 12, where the first 30 shakes are FREE and anyone else queuing in that hour will be able to purchase a shake for £3.

“There will be music, face painting, fun, games, and giveaways and we’d love for you to celebrate with us. Fun starts at 10am.”

Throughout its time in Witney, the business has been a favourite for residents, and has contributed to many community initiatives including Witney in the Pink and Turn Witney Blue.

Its website showcases a team of six and it has a wide offering.

The shop said: “Alongside our hundreds of milkshake flavours, and ice creams you will also find healthy fruit and vegetable smoothies, and lots of sweets.”
