Men charged with historic child sex offences in Oxfordshire

Thames Valley Police have today (Wednesday) charged three men, one of them from Oxford, with multiple offences each in connection with historic child sex offences in 2005.

Vaseem Manzoor, 49, of Badger Lane, Oxford, has been charged with one count of raping a girl aged 15 and two counts of people trafficking for sexual exploitation.

Tommy Ocean, 41, of Locking Road, Weston-Super-Mare, has been charged with two counts of raping a girl aged 15, two counts of people trafficking for sexual exploitation and one count of perverting the court of justice. 

Zulfikar Shamim, 51, of Mildenhall Road, Slough, has been charged with one count of raping a girl aged 15 and possession of indecent photography of a child. 

All three have been released on conditional bail and will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on April 24.

Police say the charges are the result of an ‘extensive and complex’ investigation.
