Manhunt launched after Oxfordshire man indecently exposes himself

The incident occurred between approximately 5.30pm and 6.15pm on Monday (17/8) in the area of The Avenue and Manor Grove in Kennington near Oxford.

It was reported that a man was seen indecently exposing himself in the road near The Avenue.

The man was then reportedly seen again about 45 minutes later in the vicinity of Manor Grove.

Thames Valley Police is now asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who may have vital information about the investigation.

Officers have issued an appeal this afternoon (Wednesday, August 19) alongside a photograph of a man whom they wish to speak with.

Investigating officer PC Charlotte Highsmith, from Abingdon Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are releasing an image of a man who we believe may have important information that could assist our investigation.

“If you recognise this man, or believe it may be you, please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“We are also keen to hear from anybody who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident, or anyone who has relevant CCTV, doorbell camera or dash-cam footage.

“In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a dark grey or silver Audi SUV, possibly an Audi Q5, in the area.”
