Major A-road in Oxfordshire closed after serious crash
Emergency services were called to the A420 past Faringdon on Saturday morning, July 25.
Firefighters were spotted closing the busy road close to the junction with Fernham Road.
Meanwhile, motorists were put on a diversion route for around three to four hours 999 crews dealt with the incident.

It’s understood from witnesses on the scene that the crash involved a motorbike and a car, and that the motorcyclist will be ok.
Thames Valley Police was approached for details on the crash, but refused to, stating reasons around its own policy.
A spokesman for the force said: “Corporate communications does not respond to enquiries about road traffic collisions unless the enquiry relates to a press release we have published, or where a collision is causing significant disruption to traffic.”
Significant disruption was reported by the AA, which showed severe traffic jams along Coxwell Road and Fernham Road.
