Kye Warner, aged 34, of Hilliers Avenue, Hillingdon, pleaded guilty to multiple motor vehicle offences, fail to stop and possession of criminal property charges on March 5 at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Warner was sentenced to three years and six months imprisonment on Tuesday, May 26.

At around 5.50pm on Thursday, December 11, 2025, officers were on patrol when they attempted to stop Warner, who was driving a black Mercedes on the A412 despite being disqualified from driving and having no insurance.

Warner failed to stop for police and instead drove away, reaching over 120mph along the M40.

Officers then saw the Mercedes being driven at the J2 northbound slip road, where it was subsequently found at the roundabout.

The vehicle had collided with the offside crash barrier and the side of an HGV, causing a rupture to the lorry’s fuel tank and resulting in diesel leaking across the carriageway.

While Warner was injured in the incident, no one else was harmed.

Warner was then seen running from the scene and was arrested by officers.

Police searched the vehicle, finding  2,300 bottles of codeine in boxes.

Following a search at an address in Amersham that was linked to Warner, over £80,000 of designer goods, £88,000 of Codeine and Promethazine and £40,000 in cash were seized.

Warner was charged the following day on December 12.

He pleaded guilty to one count each of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving whilst disqualified, failing to stop a mechanically controlled vehicle when requested by a constable, use of a motor vehicle without third party insurance, possession with intent to supply a class B drug, namely codeine, failing to provide a specimen for analysis and possession of criminal property.

Investigating officer PC Ben McNeill of the Buckinghamshire Stronghold Team said: “This incident on the A412 and M40 could easily have had far more serious consequences, and we are thankful that no one was injured.

“Drug dealing also brings harm and misery to our communities and exploits vulnerable people. We will continue to target and disrupt those responsible.

“Warner has now admitted his actions in court and has been sentenced.

“Dangerous driving puts lives at risk, and we remain committed to keeping our roads safe and stop drug dealing in Aylesbury.

“We encourage everyone to drive responsibly and safely.”

Thames Valley Police is encouraging anyone with information to report it by calling 101 or using the online reporting form on their website.
