Lidl – Banbury woman flashed by man at Concorde Avenue

The incident happened at around 8.30am on Monday, April 20 when a woman was walking through an underpass beneath Concorde Avenue in Banbury.

She was travelling from Bridge Street towards the rear of Lidl on her way to the Spiceball gym when she was approached by the unknown man.

He was standing in the underpass and as the victim approached, he spoke to her and behaved in an “inappropriate manner”, according to officers.

The woman was not physically injured but is said to have been left distressed by the incident.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the expose incident as part of their investigation.

A spokesman for the force said: “Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, was in the area at the time, or anyone else who may have experienced similar behaviour in the same location.

“Anyone with information, CCTV, dash‑cam, or mobile phone footage is asked to call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43260197969.”
