Kia driver has car seized by police in Witney, Oxfordshire
The incident took place last night (Tuesday, March 17) during a Thames Valley Police patrol in Witney.
An officer stopped the Kia car and discovered that the vehicle was uninsured, which led to it being seized by the force.
Thames Valley Police shared a photograph of the car being taken away on social media and informed the public of what had occurred.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Skip the insurance, pay the price.
“On patrol in Witney last night, an officer stopped a vehicle and found that it was uninsured.
“The vehicle was seized, and the driver can face a fine and points on their licence.
“Driving without insurance is risky – not only can it lead to fines, points, and a seized vehicle, but you are also personally liable if you cause damage or injury.
“If you’re unsure whether you’re insured – or know you’re not – don’t drive. Get it sorted first, or you could be next.”
