Jeremy Clarkson reveals farm problem amid series six filming

The Prime Video programme follows the former Top Gear and The Grand Tour presenter as he runs Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington.

First launched in 2021 and has become one of the streaming service’s most popular factual entertainment shows, documenting the challenges of farming and rural business.

Prime Video confirmed earlier this year that Clarkson’s Farm will return for a sixth series, with filming currently taking place across the farm and surrounding businesses.

Filming is currently underway on Clarkson’s Farm series six, and Mr Clarkson has revealed the latest issue on the farm whilst this is ongoing.

Writing in a recent column in The Times, the 66-year-old has outlined how hard it is to get rabbits to breed.

Mr Clarkson wrote: “Job one. I’d heard that no one is currently farming rabbits in this country and that butchers have to import whatever the pub and restaurant trade need from France.

“‘That’s an opportunity, right there,’ I thought. How hard can it be? Rabbits breed like rabbits, so I’d be in the money from the get-go.

“Well, it turns out that rabbits don’t breed like rabbits. They breed like pandas. It’s nigh on impossible to get them to have sex, and even if you manage it, the ladies rarely get pregnant. Also, rabbits are extremely vicious, which is a problem if, like me, you’re on blood thinners.

“I’ve never once been hurt by a cow, but every time I emerge from the daily rabbit attack, I’m bleeding so profusely I look like that fountain in Geneva.”
