Jeremy Clarkson revamps Cotswolds farm shop in major change
The Clarkson’s Farm stars opened the Cotswolds farm shop in 2020, which has proved popular with tourists in the years following.
Their efforts were documented in the hugely popular Amazon Prime TV series Clarkson’s Farm, which now has five series.
In an update on the Diddly Squat Farm Shop’s official Facebook page earlier this month, it was revealed that the main shop will be closed from March 16 to 24.

Today (Wednesday, March 25), the spot has reopened with some major changes in tow, with the building undergoing a full refit.
Speaking on the refurbishments, an official statement said: “It’s the same farm shop with its Diddly charm and organised chaos that first drew crowds of devoted fans to a muddy layby in Chipping Norton, just with smarter fixtures, a lick of paint and a seasonal vibe that will change throughout the year.”
With the renovations, Ms Hogan and Mr Clarkson have unveiled a new identity built around the belief that British farming deserves to be celebrated and is something to be proud of.
The new brand rallying cry, ‘For Farms’ Sake’, aims to spotlight farms and the people who make them what they are.
Banging the drum for the farmers who get up at 4am in the rain, it’s a promise from Diddly Squat that products on their shelves help farmers farm.

Mr Clarkson said: “Nothing winds me up quite like food that has nothing to do with the people who actually grew it.
“Our food does. Shopping shouldn’t be complicated. You pick up a jar of mustard. You help a British farmer. That’s it.”
Ms Hogan added: “At Diddly Squat Farm, we grow and source ingredients to support British farming, and we want people to feel the joy of the farm the moment they pick something up.
“We can’t wait to welcome visitors back and see our regulars again!”

There is now a new cockerel logo with a pitchfork in hand and chest puffed, which has been described as a “stamp of approval”.
The team says that the new symbol exists to mark out “food that’s worth buying”, which is described as honest and benefiting farmers who deserve fair pay for their work.
Clarkson’s Farm series five wrapped filming in September 2025 and is expected to be released on Prime Video in May.
Eight new episodes will be available to stream, which will feature Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington and The Farmer’s Dog pub in Asthall.
