The HorMones is an all-women, feminist punk band formed in Oxford in March 2023, who have grown to great acclaim for their vibrant gigs from enthusiastic fans.

The group, made up of nine women aged from 52 to 79, were all novices when they first picked up their instruments three years ago, but won crowds over through unapologetic live performances, presenting a mixture of humour and anger which speaks to the core of punk.

They announced the release of their debut singles to all platforms on Tuesday, July 21.

Fans will now be able to sing along to Sandwiches and dance to Dirty in their own homes, the first of the music from the band set to drop this year.

After gigging for the first time in June 2023, the group are now heading for spots on the stages of Bunkfest in Wallingford this September, Binsey Fair, Klub K and the Bullingdon.
