Henley driver arrested for ‘drink driving’ with child in car
Thames Valley Police’s neighbourhood team for Henley said a driver was pulled over and, when tested, was found to be three times over the legal drink driving limit.
When they stopped the car, officers discovered a child was sitting in the back seat.
The force said the driver was ‘arrested and dealt with accordingly’.
A spokesperson for the police added: “Driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs puts lives at risk and will not be tolerated.
“Thames Valley Police will continue to proactively target offenders and take robust action to keep our roads safe.
“If you suspect someone is driving whilst impaired, please report it. In an emergency, always call 999.”
