Head chef honoured for 25 years at Hempton Field care home

Heather Coombes, who works at Hempton Field care home, was honoured with Barchester Healthcare’s 25-Year Service Award.

She began her career with the care provider in July 2001 and has since contributed tirelessly to the comfort and care of residents.

Adele Keenan, employee services director at Barchester, said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Heather Coombes has achieved this milestone.

“It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”

Tyisa Houghton, general manager of Hempton Field, praised Ms Coombes’ commitment.

She said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 25 years of loyal service with Heather.

“She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year.

“I speak for all of us here at Hempton Field when I say that I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Heather.”

Hempton Field is part of Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.

The home provides residential and nursing care for 25 residents.
