Glebefields Care Home holds networking event for vulnerable

The event took place at Glebefields Care Home in Banbury, hosted by General Manager Benazir Shakkir as part of the home’s ongoing programme to strengthen community partnerships.

Held every two months, the breakfast brings together businesses, healthcare workers, and community leaders to discuss how collaborative efforts can better serve those in need of additional support.

Ms Shakkir said: “Our bi-monthly breakfast is all about bringing passionate local professionals together under one roof.

“Meeting Callie and hearing about her hands-on, compassionate approach to helping people who feel overwhelmed deeply resonated with us.

“It highlights exactly why creating these community connections is so important for the families we all support.”

Among the attendees was Callie Early, founder of ACE Decluttering, who spoke about the emotional and practical benefits of decluttering services during times of transition.

She explained how her own experience seeking dementia care for a relative first brought her into contact with Glebefields Care Home.

The sessions are designed as a forum for attendees to share knowledge, build relationships, and explore ways to improve care for vulnerable individuals across the region.

Glebefields Care Home, located in Banbury, offers premium residential and specialist nursing care.

The next networking breakfast will take place in two months, with the care home welcoming interest from other professionals in the community.
