Fisher German’s Banbury office will now deliver planning and land referencing services for Cadent across North London.

The contract comes after Cadent, the UK’s largest gas distribution network, reviewed its supplier delivery model to create greater consistency across project delivery teams.

William Davies, senior associate at Fisher German’s Banbury office, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Cadent to support the delivery of infrastructure projects across North London.

“Our extensive experience providing planning, land and stakeholder services for major infrastructure schemes will ensure we hit the ground running, and we look forward to working alongside Cadent once again.”

Fisher German will manage land acquisition, lease renewals, planning applications, access rights, land referencing, negotiation of legal rights, and compensation agreements under an initial three-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional two years.

Cadent’s specialist framework will also support more complex projects.

The North London work will be led from Fisher German’s Banbury office, drawing on the firm’s wider expertise.

The new agreement builds on a relationship spanning more than 10 years.

Adrian Webb, partner at Fisher German, said: “This appointment reflects the confidence Cadent has in our ability to support the planning, land and stakeholder requirements that underpin the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

“Fisher German has worked alongside Cadent on many projects over the years, and their decision to appoint us on four of the five regions tendered for shows not only the strength of our expertise, but the importance of building lasting working relationships.”
