Elderly lady attacked by bull terrier dog in Oxford park

The woman suffered “significant” injury to her hip as a result of the attack in Cutteslowe Park on Thursday, April 9 at around 2pm.

Police are treating this as a dangerous dog incident and are looking for anybody with information or witnesses to come forward.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We are asking the public for help with our enquiries. If you saw this incident or if you know who the owner of the dog is, then please get in contact with us.

“We do not believe there is a wider threat to the community at this time.
