Eight zero bills homes at new development near Bicester
Greencore Homes, an award-winning developer, has teamed-up with Octopus Energy, the UK’s largest energy supplier, to deliver eight ‘Zero Bills’ homes at its new development in Launton, near Bicester.
These homes are equipped with solar panels, heat pumps and smart energy systems, providing 10 MWh of free electricity annually.
Residents will pay no home energy costs, excluding electric vehicle charging, for a minimum of 10 years, saving more than £2,350 a year on their energy bills.

The development is located on a 5.8-acre site on the edge of the historic Launton village. The first homes at Station Road are expected to be completed by autumn 2026.
They feature 65 two, three and four-bedroom homes, built using natural materials to deliver ultra-low embodied carbon and achieve a net energy balance across the scheme.
