David Beckham and Liam Gallagher lead the celebs praising England win

The Three Lions secured a 2-1 win, with Jude Bellingham’s brace ensuring a place in the semi-final against Argentina.

Sir David, who had visited the England squad during a training session in Miami earlier this week, shared his excitement on Instagram, posting photos and videos from the match.

The Beckham children were also seen in the stands with their parents.

Lady Victoria Beckham shared a picture of her family watching the game, captioning the post: “Special moment tonight in Miami with my family and for our country.”

Liam Gallagher, whose band’s hit Wonderwall has become an unofficial anthem for England, expressed his excitement post-match, stating he wanted to see England bring the World Cup home.

The Prince of Wales also congratulated the team, acknowledging their “top performance in a tough environment” in a personal message on X.

Olly Murs, the chart-topping singer, was also part of the pre-match excitement at Miami Stadium, sharing a video of himself singing Wonderwall after the win.

The game attracted a host of other stars, including Mick Jagger, tennis legend Venus Williams, Love Island presenter Maya Jama, and comedian Jack Whitehall.

Crown Prince Haakon of Norway was also seen in the stands with Fifa president Gianni Infantino.

Rocker Billy Idol and Piers Morgan also joined the chorus of well-wishers, with Morgan paying tribute to England boss Thomas Tuchel.

Before the match, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown shared a photo of herself in an oversized red and white shirt, accessorised with a black beret, sunglasses, and gold hoop earrings.

The 22-year-old actress, known for her role as Eleven in the Netflix series, captioned her photo with the words “come on” and a gif of England captain Harry Kane.

The post was accompanied by Oasis’ Wonderwall.

Award-winning actor Mike Myers also showed his support for the England team, sharing a photo of himself in the signature red uniform and black bearskin cap of the UK Guards regiments.

Ross Kemp, famous for his role as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders, shared a video from the gym, urging the nation to “think incredibly positive” ahead of the match.

The actor emphasised the importance of sending “positive vibes” to Miami.

Olly Murs and TV personality Mark Wright, both in Miami to watch the match live, also shared videos of themselves in England football kits.

The Beckham children, including youngest son Cruz and his brother Romeo, were also seen in the stands, proudly supporting the team.

The game saw comedian Jack Whitehall and Love Island presenter Maya Jama among the stars sharing snaps from the stadium.

With England now set to face Argentina in the semi-final, anticipation is building as the Three Lions edge closer to potential World Cup glory.
