Cotswolds Gogglebox star is friends with Hollywood actress

The hit reality series documents different households as they commentate on a range of TV shows from their homes.

Five new families and friends from across the country joined Channel 4’s Gogglebox line-up for its new series last year.

Among these were married couple Andrew (62) and Alfie (32) from the Cotswolds, who quickly became fan favourites.

Now, viewers have found out that the pair are actually good friends with Hollywood star Rose McGowan.

American actress and activist who rose to fame in the 1990s through roles in films such as Scream and Jawbreaker.

She is best known on television for playing Paige Matthews in the hit supernatural drama Charmed from 2001 to 2006.

On the big screen, she has appeared in projects including The Doom Generation, Grindhouse (Planet Terror and Death Proof), The Black Dahlia and Conan the Barbarian.

Posting a series of photographs of the trio to Instagram, Andrew said: “A fabulous catch-up with the fabulous Rose McGowan.”

Ms McGowan responded to the post and said: “Andrew and I met on a beach.

“Been through joy, tragedy, joy again. Love him and delighted to get to meet Alfie. When I saw him on Gogglebox, I was floored.

“Had to find him again. So happy we’ve reconnected.”
