The Chipping Norton farming contractor, best known for his appearances alongside Mr Jeremy Clarkson on the hit Amazon series, joined the US country singer at Wembley Stadium over the weekend.

Mr Cooper and former One Direction member Mr Horan were brought on stage during Mr Combs’ song 1, 2 Many, where they lined up with the musician and his wife, Nicole Combs, to down cans of beer in front of a packed crowd.

The on‑stage drinking challenge has become a regular feature of Mr Combs’ live shows, with high‑profile guests often invited to join in during the track.

For Mr Cooper, the Wembley appearance followed a busy few weeks in his personal life.

The TV personality recently married his long‑term partner Taya Cooper in July, sharing the news with fans by posting about what he called an “amazing day” and signing off as Mr and Mrs Cooper.

The couple, who have three children together, were reported to have been joined by friends, family and colleagues from the Clarkson’s Farm team at the celebration, including Jeremy Clarkson.

Mr Horan, who has spoken in the past about his love of country music and time spent in Nashville, appeared relaxed on stage as he joined Mr Combs for the stunt.

Audience members described the night as “incredible”, with social media clips showing loud cheers as the trio completed the beer‑shotgunning moment.

It came a day after former England footballer John Terry was invited up for the same routine at an earlier show, where his appearance drew a much cooler reaction and audible boos from sections of the stadium.

Mr Combs is currently on the UK leg of his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which includes three sold‑out dates at Wembley following earlier performances in Edinburgh.

The London shows form the final stop on the European stretch of the tour, which has seen the chart‑topping singer perform to huge crowds across the continent.
