Cinnamon Trust seeks Bicester volunteers to walk dog

Cinnamon Trust, a charity supporting the elderly and terminally ill with pet care, is seeking more volunteers to assist an Upper Heyford resident, as current local resources are stretched.

The trust operates a free national network, helping to keep owners and pets together for as long as possible.

Volunteers provide services such as dog walking, pet fostering during hospital stays, transporting pets to the vet, and even cleaning pet habitats.

This plea for help is aimed at forming a small team of volunteers for a particular owner and their dog, working on a rota basis according to availability.

The goal is to ensure that the dog receives regular walks several times a week.

The trust then re-homes these pets with long-term foster volunteers, providing ongoing support including covering vet fees and holiday care.
