Charming Oxfordshire pub opens after six figure renovations

The charming countryside Chef & Brewer Pub, on Church Road, which is part of Greene King, closed its doors to the public on Thursday, May 5.

The watering hole, which shut for major six figure renovations, re-opened today (Saturday, June 6).

Upgrades have brought ‘extensive improvements’, including a fresh layout for a better flow, an upgraded bar area, new, stylish furniture and decor, and new wooden flooring to make the dog-friendly pub more welcoming for guests and their four-legged friends.

It’s ‘traditional pub charm’ has been kept intact with a new range of ‘modern comforts’, according to Greene King.

Outside has also been spruced-up with the covered pergola renovated with more seating in the large beer garden, with new festoon lighting and signage.
