Camera club: Photo of St Edmund Hall quad is a winner
That was their latest weekly theme and our snappers sent in a wide variety of shots from Oxford University colleges from across the city.
The vast majority of the photos showed off the colleges’ architecture although there were one or two dining halls featured.

Christ Church seen from Christ Church Meadow, and Magdalen College, were among the most popular selections and well-known landmark the Bridge of Sighs was also on show.
Perhaps surprisingly the Radcliffe Camera was not selected more often although Ian Marriott made sure we were reminded of the city’s ‘dreaming spires’ skyline.
It was difficult to select a winner for photo of the week, but in the end we chose Julia Johnson-Fry’s image of St Edmund Hall, with the front quad pictured through a silhouetted window.
Club members take photos based on a weekly theme – the next is ‘clouds’.
