Butcombe Pubs launch Father’s Day search for local heroes
Butcombe Pubs & Inns has launched a Father’s Day competition celebrating extraordinary dads, stepdads, grandads, or anyone who goes ‘above and beyond.’
One nominee will be named the pub’s ‘Father Hero’ and win a complimentary Big Daddy Brunch.
Alice Bowyer, director of food and drink at Butcombe Group, said: “We want to celebrate the dads and father figures who go the extra mile – the ones who support, encourage and make a difference without ever asking for thanks.
“Our Big Daddy Brunch is the perfect way to spoil one of these everyday heroes, and this Father’s Day we’re excited to give a truly deserving nominee the ultimate treat.”
The Big Daddy Brunch is a generous sharing platter featuring a grilled bacon chop, Saxon sausages, Stornoway black pudding, roast mushrooms and tomatoes, hash browns, baked beans, fried eggs, pub chips, toast and fried bread, with unlimited tea or coffee.
Designed for two, the brunch starts from £40.
To enter, residents can visit the Instagram page of any participating Butcombe pub in Oxfordshire and submit a nomination of up to 50 words explaining why their father figure deserves to be celebrated.
The campaign will select one winner per pub.
Butcombe pubs in Oxfordshire include The Trout at Tadpole Bridge, The Victoria Arms in Old Marston, and The Prince of Burford.
