BRITA Bicester names Katharine House Hospice charity of year
This marks the third consecutive year that staff at the Bicester headquarters have selected Katharine House Hospice in Banbury for the honour.
A total of more than £42,000 has been raised for the hospice over the past six years through a variety of fundraising activities.
Sue Blank, corporate engagement officer at Katharine House Hospice, said: “We are very thankful for the ongoing support that BRITA provides to Katharine House.
“Without partnerships like these, we wouldn’t be able to keep our hospice running, so we are looking forward to working with the team for another year.”
The partnership aims to raise £10,000 during the charity of the year campaign to support the hospice’s core costs.
BRITA staff have already confirmed their sponsorship of the Santa Fun Run, set to take place in December.
In previous years, they have taken part in a range of fundraising events including a Snowdon trek, skydive, Oxford Half Marathon, and a 24-hour pool tournament.
David Hall, Manager Director at BRITA UK, said: “We’re excited to partner with Katharine House Hospice for another year to support the amazing work they do for people in our community.
“The work they do is inspiring and we look forward to continuing to build on our partnership through 2026.”
The partnership also includes volunteering, sponsorship, and donations of goods and services to support the hospice.
