‘Brave and beautiful’ Oxford mum-of-three dies aged 43
Tania Rose died on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, after what her family described as an eight‑month battle with cervical cancer.
She leaves behind her three children, who relatives say were at the heart of everything she did.
A GoFundMe page has now been set up by her loved ones to help cover funeral and memorial costs and to give Ms Rose “the special send-off she truly deserves”.

The online appeal, launched by her sister, has a target of £4,000 and had reached £1,673 at the time of writing, with 53 donations made so far.
Family members say any money raised will go towards funeral expenses and towards a service that reflects how widely she was loved.
The funeral will take place at St James the Apostle Church on Monday, June 15, with the service due to begin at 12.30pm.
In a moving tribute on the fundraising page, Ms Rose’s sister Leanne said the family were sharing the news “with very heavy hearts”.

She wrote: “It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beautiful, brave sister Tania on May 12, 2026.
“She sadly lost her battle with cervical cancer after eight long months of pain and suffering, leaving behind her three beautiful children.
“Tania faced every day of her diagnosis with incredible strength and a smile on her face.
“Even during her own battle, she continued to care for others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own.

“That was simply who she was—a kind, selfless, and loving person who always made sure everyone else was okay.”
Leanne said the family wanted to honour her sister’s memory and “celebrate the remarkable person she was” by arranging a fitting farewell.
She added: “Tania was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunty whose kindness touched so many lives.
“Taken way too soon at only the young age of 43. During this difficult time, our family is facing unexpected funeral and memorial expenses.
