The Blue Peter Bikeathon saw young cyclists and fans of the BBC TV show using pedal power to raise cash for the Leukaemia Research Fund.

Children rode along a three-mile circular course from The Cherwell School in Marston Ferry Road through north Oxford and Old Marston.

The national bike-ride was launched live on television by Blue Peter presenters Konnie Huq, Simon Thomas, Matt Baker and Liz Barker, and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, a keen supporter of the charity.
