The Supertri Blenheim Palace weekend will take place on June 6 and 7 and will see competitors tackle a course through the grounds of the historic estate, combining swimming, cycling and running.

Olympic medallist Jonny Brownlee will be competing in the Weekend Warrior category, which challenges athletes to complete as many back-to-back sprint triathlons as possible over the weekend.

Mr Brownlee said: “I’ve been lucky enough to race in some extraordinary places throughout my career, but Blenheim Palace has always been a favourite of mine.

“If you’ve ever thought about racing here, this is the year to do it.

“Come down on June 6, race yourself, race alongside me, and cheer me on.”

He will compete alongside the reigning Weekend Warrior record holder, Ade Fowler, who is returning.

The event will feature both sprint and super sprint distance races, with opportunities for individuals and relay teams to take part.

The course includes a swim in the palace lake, followed by cycling and running routes through the estate’s grounds.

Organisers describe the weekend as an accessible, festival-like atmosphere for athletes and spectators alike, mixing elite competition with a supportive, inclusive environment for athletes of all levels. Limited places remain.

Athletes are encouraged to enter soon using the code RACEBLEN10 for a discounted entry fee.

The full event schedule and entry details are available on the Supertri website.

Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
