Nick Davies, the auctioneer and valuation specialist known for his appearances on the BBC’s Flog It!, will visit the Churchill Living retirement development, Clementine Lodge, on Thursday, June 4, for a community event starting at 11am.

Taking place in the Owners’ Lounge at the newly launched complex, the morning will include entertaining stories from Mr Davies about his long career in antiques, as well as behind-the-scenes insights from the popular television programme.

Jo Ridehalgh, divisional marketing lead for Churchill Living South West, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nick Davies to Clementine Lodge for what promises to be a really enjoyable and engaging event for both our Owners and the wider local community.

“Events like this are a wonderful opportunity for people to come together, socialise and experience the welcoming lifestyle on offer at Clementine Lodge.”

Guests will be treated to light refreshments, and are encouraged to bring friends and family along to enjoy the event.

Clementine Lodge is Churchill Living’s brand-new retirement development, offering 41 one and two-bedroom apartments designed for independent, later-life living.

The building is centrally located on St John’s Street, with easy access to Bicester’s shops, cafés, and the High Street.

Each apartment is designed with comfort in mind, and many include a private patio or balcony, providing attractive outdoor living spaces within the beautifully maintained gardens.

The retirement complex is also conveniently located near Bicester Village, the famous shopping destination, and other key town amenities such as banks, a pharmacy, and a supermarket.

Bicester itself offers a mix of historic attractions and modern comforts, including the Market Square and a self-guided walking trail showcasing the town’s 16th and 18th-century architecture.

A standout landmark, St Edburg’s Church, continues to serve the community with regular services and special events, while Garth Park offers a calendar of outdoor entertainment throughout the summer months.

Churchill Living is known for its purpose-built retirement apartments, designed to help older adults remain active, independent, and socially connected.

Their developments are aimed at residents aged 60 and over, or those over this age with a partner of at least 55.

The company has constructed and manages more than 200 retirement communities across the UK and has received multiple awards.

It has secured Gold for Best Retirement Home Developer at the WhatHouse? Awards for three consecutive years since 2023.
