Banbury railway station – multiple police called to incident
British Transport Police swarmed Banbury station to find a suspect on the afternoon of Thursday, July 23.
It was claimed that a trespasser had escaped onto the railway tracks and needed to be found.
Trespassing on railway tracks is strictly illegal, highly dangerous, and carries severe penalties including fines up to £1,000.

Tracks are never turned off and they carry lethal high-voltage electricity and heavy, fast-moving trains at any time of day or night.
The person reported to be on the tracks had escaped before officers could find him or her.
A spokeswoman for British Transport Police said: “We were called to Banbury station shortly before 1.30pm on July 23 following reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
“Officers attended but the person had left the railway.”
