Officers from the neighbourhood team were in the north Oxfordshire town on Thursday morning (March 26).

After the suspected drugs were found, details of which have not been revealed by Thames Valley Police, further enquiries are now underway, according to the force.

It follows another warrant being carried out elsewhere in Banbury earlier this week.

A police spokesman said: “We want to reassure our community that we act on intelligence and we will continue to take action whenever concerns are raised.

“That’s two successful warrants in one week, and we’re not slowing down.

“Your information genuinely helps us protect our neighbourhoods. If you see something, say something — and we’ll do the rest.

“Your Banbury neighbourhood team are on it.”
