Banbury – Armed police called to quiet residential street
An incident took place in Woburn Close, Banbury, on Friday, June 5 just after 7pm.
Police were informed that an assault had occurred involving weapons.
A man sustained minor injures and no arrests have been made.

An eyewitness spotted a man in the middle of the road and heard raised voices.
Thames Valley Police has now launched an investigation and the force is appealing for witnesses.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “At around 7.07pm on Friday, we were called to an assault with injury, in Woburn Close.
“Armed officers were deployed to the scene as the incident was reported as involving weapons.
“A man sustained minor injuries. An investigation has been launched and no arrests have been made at this time.
“We believe there is no threat to the wider public.
