Award-winning UK football firm collapses amid £63K debts owed

ClubView Limited – which was based in Carterton between June 2025 and June 2026 – is set to be wound up voluntarily after a meeting on June 11.

Tyrone Courtman and Joe Barry of RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP were named as joint liquidators at the meeting which saw a ‘resolution for winding-up’ passed.

Founded in 2019, the business aimed to provide financial data and reporting services to sport, in particular football.

Its financial benchmarking platform – launched in 2021 – looked to create a system by which leagues and associations could better understand their clubs’ financial and commercial performance, and how they can grow.

Its website said: “Football’s purpose built, independent, real-time financial benchmarking platform enabling ‘off the pitch’ analysis and decision making as relevant and immediate as it is ‘on the pitch’.”

It added that its team is “award winning” and that it worked with English Football League clubs to develop its platform.

Its chairman is listed as Dick Knight, who is the former chair and now lifetime president of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

Its chief executive is Matt Everett, who has fifteen years of working with football clubs such as Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers and Oxford United.

Its ‘statement of affairs’ listed debts hitting £63,198.39.

This included £21,600.60 to Mr Simon Moores, based in Carterton, and £38,311.20 to SFP Consultants Ltd, a strategic consultancy based in London.

In addition money is owed to ME Sports Marketing, Peninsular Business Services Ltd and Anderson & Anderson Accountancy Services
