Aureus School art exhibition in Didcot a huge success

Aureus School in Didcot hosted its annual Aureus Arts Exhibition, featuring artwork from Year 11 GCSE art students and younger pupils in Years 7 to 10.

The event drew crowds from the school community and beyond, including families, friends, and members of the community.

Steph Robins, head of art at Aureus School, said: “This year’s exhibition was a wonderful celebration of the exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication of our Year 11 GCSE Art students.

“Their exhibition showcased an impressive range of highly accomplished and imaginative work, reflecting the commitment, resilience, and passion they have demonstrated throughout their GCSE course.

“Alongside the GCSE exhibition, visitors also enjoyed an inspiring display of artwork created by students from Years 7 to 10, highlighting the breadth of artistic talent across the school.”

Ms Robins said: “I was overwhelmed by the fantastic attendance, and the incredibly positive feedback we received.

“It was heartening to see so many visitors taking the time to appreciate and celebrate the creativity and achievements of our students.

“The Aureus Arts Exhibition is one of the highlights in our school calendar.

“It provides an important opportunity to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of all our students, while inspiring younger pupils to develop their own creative ambitions.”
