Arrest for ‘witness intimidation’ by Oxfordshire police
Thames Valley Police has revealed that they took an individual into custody for the crime as well as for breaching ‘electronic monitoring service conditions’.
The arrest occurred between Friday 29 May and Sunday May 31 and was revealed by the Didcot and Wallingford Neighbourhood Police Team.

A spokesperson said: “An individual was charged and remanded (kept in custody by the courts) for witness intimidation, a serious offence under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, which involves threatening or interfering with someone involved in an investigation.
“The same individual was then further arrested for breaching EMS conditions (Electronic Monitoring Service – commonly known as a tag), meaning they had not complied with court-imposed restrictions.”
This was one of a number of pieces of activity the team did over the week.
